Interstice Digital launched a non-custodial cross-chain swap engine with FalconX connecting Canton Network's institutional tokenized-asset markets to Solana, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain.
"As institutional demand for digital assets grows, the firms that win will be the ones who can move capital across ecosystems without friction," Hassan Bassiri, head of trading strategy at FalconX, said.
The engine opens a direct path between Canton's institutional-grade market infrastructure and the largest pools of retail liquidity in digital assets. Robinhood reached 100 million transactions faster than any other EVM network and now serves 28 million funded accounts with $369 billion in total platform assets. Solana recorded 167 million monthly active addresses in April 2026, an all-time high, and $650 billion in stablecoin transaction volume in February 2026, the highest monthly figure ever recorded on any blockchain. Ethereum remains the deepest developer ecosystem in the industry and the base layer underpinning Robinhood Chain itself.
The swap engine, named a Featured App on Canton, plugs into a network where more than $9 trillion in tokenized real-world assets flow monthly, according to Interstice. Canton counts JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas among its ecosystem participants, and Digital Asset, the firm behind the network, closed a $355 million funding round in June led by a16z crypto at a $2 billion valuation.
The engine is powered by compliance and infrastructure providers including Trulioo, TRM Labs, CertiK, Canton Strategic Holdings and MPCH. Interstice provides non-custodial infrastructure only — quotes are provided independently by counterparties, and the company does not take custody of assets or execute transactions on behalf of users.
"We built the cross-chain swap engine to help connect Solana, Ethereum, and Robinhood Chain to the growing Canton ecosystem where over $9 trillion in tokenized RWA flow monthly," Janine Yorio, chief executive officer of Interstice Digital, said.
The integration arrives as traditional finance institutions expand tokenization activity on Canton. In July, Tradeweb executed on-chain trading of US Treasuries, with Franklin Templeton transferring a tokenized treasury security to Virtu Financial for tokenized cash, settled in real time on Canton against USDCx. Societe Generale deployed its euro- and dollar-denominated stablecoins on Canton for tokenized collateral and repo financing, while Visa tested private stablecoin settlements on the network. A pilot for Japanese government bonds as collateral involved Mizuho and Nomura, and the S&P Dow Jones Indices iBoxx US Treasuries Index was placed on Canton.
Interstice Digital is a wholly owned subsidiary of Everyrealm Inc., backed by a16z Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Lightspeed, Galaxy, Brevan Howard and Liberty City Ventures. FalconX Bravo, a FalconX affiliate, was the first CFTC-registered swap dealer focused on cryptocurrency derivatives.
