Pons (PONS) reached a record $0.52 after Binance Alpha opened trading in the Robinhood Chain launchpad token, which last changed hands near $0.50.
Trading activity backs the move. PONS logged 95,969 trades from 8,014 wallets over the past day, producing $64.94 million in daily turnover, according to a Dune dashboard tracking Robinhood Chain. That ranked the token among the three most-traded assets on the network over the period.
The 21.87 percent gain over 24 hours lifted the token to a market value near $362 million, ranking it 118th by market capitalization. The advance ran against a weaker backdrop: total crypto market capitalization dropped more than 2 percent to $2.26 trillion, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both trading lower. Binance Wallet said on Sept. 2 that PONS and fellow meme coin FLORK were added to Binance Alpha, with PONS available on Alpha 1.0 through market and limit orders. FLORK also drew speculative money, climbing about 293 percent and adding more than 80 percent after entering the venue, per Wu Blockchain, with its market value briefly reaching roughly $17.5 million.
Lifetime figures are larger. PONS has cleared $702.12 million in cumulative volume across more than 2.1 million trades and 66,422 unique traders, while the launchpad has processed $4.54 billion in volume on Robinhood Chain. PONS now trades about 3 percent below its peak.
The Alpha debut hands PONS the order-book depth and retail distribution that Robinhood Chain's native venues alone could not supply, exposing the token to Binance's user base even as broader crypto risk appetite cools. Meme-coin listings on Alpha have historically drawn sharp inflows that fade once the novelty passes, so whether the record holds may hinge on sustained on-chain turnover rather than the initial listing pop.
