The firm is engaged in the production and sale of Accoya solid wood and exploitation of technology for the production and sale of Accoya wood and Tricoya wood chips. Its proprietary acetylation process boosts the already naturally occurring acetyl content of wood and by doing so, reduces the ability of the wood to absorb water, rendering it more dimensionally stable. Accoya is a real, solid wood setting for material performance, finish and sustainability. Its primary applications for Accoya wood include windows, doors, shutters, decking, cladding, and others. Accoya woods are produced from FSC (C012330) certified wood at its plant in Arnhem, Netherlands. Tricoya acetylated wood elements are produced for use in the fabrication of panel products, such as medium density fiberboard (MDF).
