VTEL was created on 2025-05-20 by Vanguard. The fund's investment portfolio concentrates primarily on investment grade fixed income. VTEL tracks an index of investment-grade, tax-exempt US municipal bonds with maturities over 10 years. It accomplishes this by selecting a mix of bonds similar to those in the index.
