VVV token broke above key moving averages as Venice AI's annualized revenue crossed $100 million, up from $70 million a month earlier.
The milestone, reported Aug. 18, follows Venice AI's $65 million Series A in July 2026, which valued the privacy-focused AI platform at $1 billion. Investors including Dragonfly and Coinbase Ventures participated in the round, which funded GPU acquisitions and data center expansion, according to company disclosures.
Venice AI, founded by Erik Voorhees — who previously built ShapeShift — operates more than 200 AI models with a privacy-first design that purges user interactions after each request. The platform has attracted more than 3 million monthly active users and processes millions of API calls daily, a volume that reflects both consumer adoption and developer integration.
The revenue growth feeds directly into VVV's token economics. A portion of Venice AI's revenue funds a buy-and-burn program that purchases VVV on the open market and permanently destroys those tokens, creating a deflationary supply dynamic as platform usage scales. The involvement of Coinbase Ventures and Dragonfly as investors adds institutional credibility to both the AI platform and the token model.
The DIEM ecosystem expansion adds another layer of demand for VVV, broadening the token's utility beyond the Venice AI platform itself. With cumulative revenue now exceeding $100 million and ongoing token burns reducing circulating supply, the supply-demand equation has shifted in favor of VVV holders.
The privacy-first positioning differentiates Venice from competitors that lock users into single proprietary systems. By functioning as an aggregation layer across 200-plus models, Venice gives users flexibility to choose the right model for the right task without committing to one vendor's ecosystem — a structural advantage that has helped drive the platform's rapid revenue growth.
The speed of the revenue acceleration — from $70 million to $100 million ARR in roughly one month — suggests Venice AI may be hitting an inflection point in adoption. The combination of growing platform revenue, deflationary token mechanics, and expanded utility through DIEM could sustain bullish momentum for VVV, though the token's price action will ultimately depend on whether user growth maintains its current pace.
