The Angel Island Mine is in Esmeralda County, in west-central Nevada, United States, immediately east of Albemarle's mine site, North America's only lithium brine operation. Angel Island comprises a significant lithium claystone deposit, exposed at surface, in southwestern Nevada and a Lithium Extraction Facility (Demonstration Plant) located in Amargosa Valley, Nevada.
