Solana spot ETFs recorded $8.8 million in net inflows on Aug. 10, the largest single-day total since May 12, according to Santiment.
The inflow marks a rebound from three months of subdued fund flows and points to renewed institutional interest in Solana-based products, Santiment said, even as SOL's price has stayed range-bound.
SOL traded at $75.72, down 1.4 percent over 24 hours, while the broader crypto market slipped 1.5 percent, CoinGecko data shows. Beyond ETF flows, real-world asset value, stablecoin supply, tokenized stock trading volume and perpetual futures activity on Solana have all grown over recent months, Santiment said.
The Alpenglow upgrade, targeting finality of roughly 150 milliseconds, could place Solana among the fastest networks and broaden its appeal for latency-sensitive applications, while the expansion of xStocks extends access to tokenized stocks through Solana-linked infrastructure.
Ecosystem metrics keep climbing
Solana led all chains in monthly USDC senders, reaching a new all-time high, according to The Coin Republic. The stablecoin activity, alongside rising RWA value and tokenized stock trading, suggests the network is expanding in utility even as price performance lags.
The xStocks platform, which routes tokenized stock access through Solana-linked infrastructure, could draw investors interested in blockchain-based securities beyond traditional crypto trading. Solana's ETF products pulled in roughly $14.62 million in July, more than any other altcoin fund family, a sign of institutional demand relative to peers.
What to watch
ETF flows can be volatile and do not always translate directly into price gains, but sustained inflows typically reflect growing institutional confidence. Investors will watch whether the trend extends over coming weeks and whether the Alpenglow upgrade delivers its targeted finality, which would strengthen Solana's case for high-frequency trading against faster rivals.
