JBM Healthcare (02161.HK) proposed a spin-off and separate Main Board listing of its branded proprietary Chinese medicine products and Chinese medicine clinic services through a global offering of JPJ shares.
The spin-off group holds a portfolio of heritage brands including Po Chai Pills, Tin Hee Tong Tin Hee Pills, Flying Eagle Wood Lok Medicated Oil, Shiling Oil, Tong Tai Chung Medicated Oil and Konsodona Medicated Oil, the company said in a filing.
The company did not disclose the indicative offer price, deal size, cornerstone investors or expected listing timeline. The proposal requires shareholder approval and clearance from the Stock Exchange and the Securities and Futures Commission.
Shares of JBM Healthcare rose 2.5%, adding HK$0.050, on the announcement. The spin-off would allow the group to unlock value from its consumer healthcare brands while sharpening its corporate focus on its remaining operations. Investors will watch for further details on the deal's valuation and institutional demand.
