Roadzen Inc.’s (Nasdaq: RDZN) Indian subsidiary VehicleCare secured a major contract from one of India’s largest general insurers, a deal expected to generate over $10 million in annual revenue.
"Being selected by one of India's largest general insurers is a validation of everything VehicleCare has built — a technology platform that brings discipline, transparency, and accountability to what has historically been a very fragmented repair ecosystem," Rohan Malhotra, Founder & CEO of Roadzen, said.
The contract gives VehicleCare access to an annual motor claims pool of approximately $800 million. VehicleCare will use its AutoSpace software platform across a network of more than 1,200 workshops, which has already processed over 150,000 claims and reported a 30% reduction in loss costs compared to OEM garages.
The news pushed Roadzen shares up 3.7% to $1.39. The deal supports Roadzen’s strategy of combining its AI-driven software with a physical repair network to create an integrated claims platform for insurers, extending its capabilities from software to real-world repair execution.
Under the agreement, VehicleCare becomes a preferred repair partner, offering cashless services to policyholders. The insurer gains digital visibility into the entire repair process through the AutoSpace platform, from job cards and parts procurement to final approvals.
“Large insurers need partners who can deliver scale, transparency, quality control, and guaranteed execution across thousands of claims and hundreds of cities,” said Arvind Verma, CEO of VehicleCare. “AutoSpace was built precisely for this purpose — to connect insurers, workshops, parts suppliers, and policyholders on one digital platform.”
The contract represents a significant win for VehicleCare and strengthens Roadzen’s foothold in India’s motor insurance infrastructure. The company’s ability to now manage a meaningful share of claims for a major insurer provides a durable, volume-linked revenue stream.
This engagement is expected to serve as a model for future insurer partnerships in India. Investors will now watch how quickly claims volumes ramp up on the VehicleCare network and the resulting impact on Roadzen's revenue growth.
