Sports Entertainment Gaming Global Corporation (NASDAQ: SEGG) announced a strategic partnership with Polymarket on April 28, 2026, to exclusively power Sports.com Predict, the company’s new prediction market platform.
"Polymarket has played a defining role in building and scaling prediction markets globally, and its technology is proven to support high-volume, real-time transactions," Marc Bircham, Chairman of SEGG Media, said in a statement. "Polymarket is the ideal partner for Sports.com Predict, giving us the foundation to scale quickly ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup."
The agreement establishes a transaction-based revenue sharing model for all trades executed on the Sports.com Predict platform. According to the press release, this is intended to create a high-margin growth engine for SEGG Media. The platform will be rolled out in phases, subject to regulatory and development considerations.
This partnership positions SEGG to enter the lucrative sports wagering market, currently dominated by traditional sportsbooks like DraftKings and FanDuel, with a differentiated prediction market product. By timing the launch before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, SEGG and Polymarket aim to capture a global audience and convert fan engagement into significant, transaction-driven activity on the new platform.
The deal provides Polymarket, the world's largest prediction market, a significant entry into the mainstream sports entertainment world through a publicly-traded partner. For SEGG Media, it offers a turnkey, scalable technology stack to quickly deploy a modern fan engagement product without building the infrastructure from scratch.
By integrating Polymarket's institutional-grade technology, Sports.com Predict is designed to handle the high transaction volumes expected during major global sporting events. This move allows SEGG to expand its digital portfolio, which includes Sports.com, Concerts.com, and Lottery.com, by adding a recurring revenue stream tied directly to user activity. The success of the platform will be closely watched as a test case for the convergence of regulated digital media and crypto-native prediction market technology.
