The Group's businesses are focused on the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity and supply of gas. Additionally, the Group also operates in related areas such as engineering, laboratory tests, professional training, energy services and property management. EDP's activities are divided into two business segments: Renewables, Clients & Energy Management, that corresponds to the activity of generation of electricity from renewable sources, mainly hydro, wind and solar; and Networks, that corresponds to the activities of electricity distribution and transmission.
