The Buchan oil field lies in approximately 110 meters of water and is located in United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) blocks 20/05a and 21/01a, 150km northeast of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom North Sea. The J2 oil discovery is located in the P.2498 Buchan licence area (Block 20/05a and 21/01a). The Verbier oil discovery is located in Blocks 20/5b and 21/1d in licence P.2170. Its Exploration operations include Cortina, Wengen, and Verbier Deep exploration prospects.
