UBR was created on 2010-04-29 by ProShares. The fund's investment portfolio concentrates primarily on total market equity. UBR provides 2x daily leveraged exposure to a market cap-weighted index comprising large- and mid-cap companies operating in Brazil, capturing approximately 85% of the Brazilian equity market.
