Key Takeaways:

AgiBot disclosed its 9-partner leadership team Aug. 3, ten days after initiating its Hong Kong listing process, with over half the executives hailing from Huawei.
Deng Taihua, founder and chairman of AgiBot, said revenue surged from 300,000 yuan in the first year to more than 60 million yuan in the second, surpassing 1 billion yuan by 2025.
The partner roster spans AI technology R&D, product engineering, global commercialization, and government-enterprise relations. Co-founder and CTO Peng Zhihui was a member of Huawei's "Genius Youth" program. Co-founder and COO Jiang Qingsong previously served as Huawei's overseas enterprise country head and Alibaba Cloud's general manager for the Middle East and North Africa. Co-founder Yao Maoqing worked on Waymo AI algorithms at Google and established NIO's intelligent driving system.
Corner investors are targeting a valuation between HK$40 billion and HK$50 billion, roughly 34.6 billion to 43.3 billion yuan, a jump from the 15 billion yuan valuation disclosed in 2025. AgiBot could list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as early as August, with 15,000 embodied intelligence robots deployed as of June 2026.
The disclosure adds three new partners compared with the seven-person list published in September 2025: Xiong Yan, Zhu Jie, and Zhang Xiuzheng. Xiong Yan previously served as president of Huawei's Central Research Institute. Zhu Jie brings more than 20 years of public affairs experience from government agencies and Tencent. Zhang Xiuzheng was president of Huawei Cloud China.
The board also includes three independent non-executive directors. Cai Hongjun has over 30 years of investment banking experience, having served as chairman of Greater China at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, and UBS. Yang Changying brings over 30 years of international capital markets law experience from Latham & Watkins. Zhang Dan has served as CFO for a global consumer electronics leader in China.
Luo Jianlan, who previously served as chief scientist, has disappeared from the partner list. AgiBot denied departure rumors, saying his role was adjusted internally.
AgiBot shipped more than 5,100 humanoid robots in 2025 and has deployed 15,000 embodied intelligence robots across scenarios including 3C manufacturing and industrial production lines as of June 2026. The company has not yet disclosed offer price, deal size, or lead underwriters for the listing.
The Hong Kong listing will test whether the market accepts AgiBot's valuation premium over its 15 billion yuan 2025 valuation. First-day trading, expected as early as August, will gauge institutional demand for Chinese humanoid robotics stocks.
