The MRE has broad zones of very high-grade rutile, which occur contiguously across a very large area of over 200 square kilometers. Kasiya’s graphite by-product Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is 1.8 Bt at 1.4% graphite, containing over 24.4 Mt tones of contained natural graphite. The Kasiya Rutile-Graphite deposit is in an area northwest of Malawi’s capital of Lilongwe called the Lilongwe Plain.
